Execute script

The execute script is used to run programs installed on the operating system of the end user remotely. The name of the program to be started is transmitted as the script parameter.
Due to safety reasons, after installing the CryptoTerm terminal emulator, the option to start up the programs remotely is disabled by default.
To enable remote starting up programs, you should select the Configuration | Emulation | Allow remote starting up programs option.

The execute script should be copied in the text mode to the UNIX server, to the folder which is on the search path (PATH) of the end users. After moving, you should set the appropriate rights to access this file e.g. –rwxr-xr-x.

Keylabel script

In the emulator there is a possibility to give remotely any name to the keys displayed on Function Key Bar at the bottom of the screen (Configuration | Settings | Visible elements | Function keys menu).
By default the names of F1, F2 ... F16 denoting the corresponding function keys are displayed on the buttons. In the wyse60 (wyse60 color) and hp emulations it is possible to give names to the particular keys by sending the appropriate command from the UNIX system.
The CryptoTerm terminal emulator has been extended by similar functionality to the remaining emulations. In order to give particular names displayed on the key bar, you may use the keylabel script.

The keylabel script should be copied in the text mode to the Unix server, to the folder which is on the search path (PATH) of the end users. After moving, you should set the appropriate rights to access this file -rwxr-xr-x.

Print script

The print script allows to print from the unix systems to client stations on which the CryptoTerm terminal emulator is installed.

The print script should be copied in the text mode to the Unix server, to the folder which is on the search path (PATH) of the end users. After moving, you should set the appropriate rights to access this file e.g. –rwxr-xr-x.
